Ausdom M08 budget Bluetooth headset review

Not so long ago we had a review of the Ausdom M05 Bluetooth headset. This was my first encounter with this Chinese company, which, as it turns out, is a very large OEM and produces headphones for a bunch of more well-known companies. The headset turned out to be quite good and now there is an opportunity to get acquainted with a slightly cheaper model M08.

What is the typeface interesting for?

Like the older model, Ausdom M08 is a full-size Bluetooth headset with a closed acoustic design, a foldable design, 40mm drivers and wired connectivity. The Bluetooth 4.0 module is used, but the aptX codec is not supported. The headset uses a larger battery: 500 mAh versus 400 for the M05, and it is logical to assume that it will live longer on a single battery charge.

What’s in the box?

The headset is packaged in a white box with a schematic image and a set of icons that depict the features of the Ausdom M08. Of the not quite familiar – support for the voice assistant Apple Siri. Inside is another box, already light green in color. The set is nothing special. The box contains the headset itself, a USB-MicroUSB cable for charging, a standard 3.5-3.5 mm cable for a wired connection (three-pin, so only music is on the cable) and an instruction manual.

What does Ausdom M08 look like?

Of course, as befits a budget Bluetooth headset, Ausdom M08 is made mainly of plastic. The cups are made in two tiers and covered with plastic with a brushed metal texture, on the outside there is a company logo.
